Dr. Eric Ayers received his Medical Degree from Wayne State School of Medicine and completed a residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics program at Wayne State University. He currently is the Program Director involved in the educational development and progress of 26 years.
Dr. Ayers has been involved in many community and civic activities. He has been on the Alumni Board of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School. He helped develop and coordinate Senator Murphy's Health Conference along with helping to run several smaller programs at area churches. He has received extensive training in the area of substance abuse under a three year faculty development program sponsored by the NIH. He has held a seat on the American Heart Association's Men's Committee. He has been recognized for his clinical expertise and sound foundation as a physician by the School of Medicine along with receiving the Humanism in Medicine Award given by Pfizer.
